The library at the University of Texas at Arlington has been housed in several buildings over the course of its existence. It was established ca. 1915 as part of a new building that also housed science labs, the business office, literary society halls, and other offices. The library’s current building, which originally had just two floors, was dedicated on May 10, 1964. In 1967, four more stories were added to the building. This collection was created and maintained in the library’s administrative office; they are comprised of financial records, correspondence, memos, goals files, and policies. The records concern topics such as the budget, typewriter and printer service, the undergraduate catalog, goals and objectives planning, librarian and associates of the faculty meetings, the Library Executive Council, the Graduate Assembly, and the Faculty Senate.
